The platypus lays eggs but also produces milk

Explanation

It is a monotreme, one of the rare egg-laying mammals. It has no nipples, so the milk simply oozes through the skin of the belly, which is why it is sometimes said to "sweat" milk. Fun fact: its fur also glows blue-green under ultraviolet light, a discovery made as recently as 2020.
