A soft reset can be achieved with the command ctrl+alt+del

The answer is True.

Explanation

The soft reset was designed by David Bradley, who was the chief engineer of the IBM PC. He originally used ctrl+alt+esc but it was too easy to bump the left side of the keyboard and reboot the computer accidentally. That's when the chief programmer of the project Mel Hallerman suggested ctrl+alt+del. Fun fact: this keybord shortcut is also named the "three-finger salute", and the shortcut itself was popularized by Bill Gates.
