Teaching existed at Oxford as early as 1096, while the Aztec Empire was only founded in 1428 with the Triple Alliance of Tenochtitlán, Texcoco, and Tlacopan. Even Tenochtitlán, the Aztec capital, was not founded until 1325, still more than two centuries after Oxford.
